'Women in Packaging' to Meet at HBA

Women in Packaging Inc. (WP) will hold a special packaging program as part of its member luncheon on June 9 at HBA '99 Global Expo. The program, sponsored by Color Prelude and EM Industries, will feature a presentation titled "Packaging to Attract the Customer...Men, Women and Teens."

HBA Global Expo will be held June 8-10 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. The annual exhibition and conference addresses the entire cosmetic and personal care industry, including packaging. The show has proved in the past to be a venue for the introduction of innovative packaging components for fragrances, skin care ingredients and new colors to cosmetic lines. More than 385 exhibitors will be on hand to display a range of HBA products.

In addition to the WP luncheon, the exhibition will feature an education conference that includes a packaging track. Topics covered at this year's conference include: "Labeling," "Package Decorating," "The Power of the Package" and "Using Your Package to Sell Your Image and Your Product."
