Water-Soluble Film

Designed for ease of conversion, the MonoSol M9500 family of water-soluble films runs on all VFFS equipment. According to the supplier, this film features advancements in heat-sealing characteristics and machinability, while offering fast solubility at the point of use.

The film is designed to increase the range of products that can be packaged in PVA water-soluble films and widen the scope of packaging equipment choices to include all types of vertical form/fill/seal machinery. Appropriate for the packaging of neutral, mildly alkaline, and acidic formulations, the film is suitable for many powder, gel and liquid forms of chemicals and detergents, as well as other products.

The film's formulation advancements include a specially developed plasticizer and resin system. The plasticizer system contributes to seal strength and a sealing temperature window of 40ºC. The resin component gives the film its mechanical properties and provides the film with low temperature flexibility and high-slip/non-tack characteristics for improved machinability.
