Ultima SV
Features/Benefits
In 1980 Hayssen introduced the ULTIMA - a major breakthrough in vertical form/fill/seal packaging machinery providing superior speed, performance, packaging appearance, and efficiency, while greatly reducing film waste. Since then, HAYSSEN ULTIMA, with its revolutionary Measure, Form, Pull packaging material handling concept, has become the most successful v/f/f/s machine ever built. Here's why ...
More Dwell Time
Hayssen's patented Measure, Form, Pull system uses measuring rollers to measure the proper length of film. At the same time, pull belts advance the film down the forming tube. As a result, packaging material is moved forward in significantly less cycle time, allowing more dwell time.Positive Film Control
Material is pulled through with more positive control with little stress at the forming shoulder. Since the Measure, Form, Pull principle provides more dwell time, there's more time to make better looking end seals and increase packaging speeds.Heavy Duty Jaw Assembly
The jaw assembly features a rugged jaw close actuator. The heavy duty casting houses a cushion for shock and noise abatement. The shafts are oversized and supported at the front of the frame for additional ruggedness.Exclusive Linear Stager
The ULTIMA's exclusive linear stager is mounted above the jaw and timed independently. Product is kept out of the end seals, allowing higher production speeds to be achieved.Durable Knife Actuator
The unique orbital motion of the ULTIMA's cut-off knife is more reliable and lasts longer than hot wire cut-off's. The knife actuator is designed for durability.Superior Film Registration
A fiber-optic link in the film registration system allows the electric eye controls to be placed at the front of the machine. An operator can easily see the controls and adjust the eye during operation. And, registration can be achieved in less than one bag length.Unsurpassed Sealing Systems
Whether you choose a resistance sealing system, a polyethylene sealing system, or a combination system offering both, ULTIMA sealing systems offer ...
* better seals
* repeatable performance
* higher production speeds
* less maintenance
Hayssen's resistance sealing systems employ steel/Hastelloy die faces for longer life. ULTIMA's longer dwell time allows for superior package sealing at speeds up to 130 bags per minute.
Hayssen's QUALI-SEAL polyethylene sealing system also takes advantage of ULTIMA's longer dwell time to provide stronger seals. Constant heat is applied from both the front and rear jaws, allowing reduced sealing temperatures with no chillers, cut-off wires, or complicated set-up procedures.Long Life Design
With the ULTIMA's heavy-duty frame, heavy-duty jaw assembly, and excellent accessibility and serviceability, it's no wonder the HAYSSEN ULTIMA is the bagmaker of choice for packagers desiring a machine that can go the distance.Application Experience
Benefit from the wide range of application expertise gained as the result of more than 8,000 ULTIMA's installed throughout the world.
