Trident Extends Ultrajet II Printhead Warranty To 3 Years

Brookfield, CT (November 15, 2002) - Trident, An ITW Company, announces a significant extension on the warranty of UltraJet II printheads from one to three years. These high-speed, repairable printheads produce high quality alphanumeric characters, logos, and bar codes on corrugated containers and other porous materials.

"UltraJet II printheads have demonstrated superb reliability since their introduction in 1998," reports Jean-Marie Gutierrez, General Manager of Trident. "We are pleased to make this service commitment to packagers that purchase inkjet printing systems incorporating UltraJet II printheads."

This improved warranty covers the UltraJet printheads for three years against failure. "Failure" is defined as an unrepairable printhead, subject to standard warranty exclusions that are available from suppliers of Trident-based printers. The extended warranty is also retroactive to UltraJet II printheads shipped from Trident since January 1, 2002.
