Universal Labeling Systems, Inc.r meat and poultry packages, the Top & Bottom Labeling System saves time and money by automating the labeling process. The stainless steel system places labels on the top and bottom of overwrapped meat and poultry trays, all in one pass.
The channeling of meat trays to the Top and Bottom Labeling System adds speed and efficiency by the automating a labeling process that was formally done by hand. The workers, who were once applying the labels manually, now have been freed up to perform other functions.
Using an interrupted belt conveyor, the system places the top "prime" label and a bottom "nutritional" label simultaneously at a rate up to 100 packages per minute. The high grip belt conveyor powered by a ½ hp variable speed drive moves the trays through the labeling process.
