Surface Enhancement Coatings

Magnaplate TNS is a series of surface enhancement coatings designed to eliminate buildup of glue or adhesives on labeling equipment, and prevent pressure-sensitive tapes from adhering to rollers or other parts. This series includes the thermal spray coating Plasmadize, as well as Nedox, a hard, dry-lubricated synergistic coating developed for use on ferrous metals and aluminum. These coatings are a composite of the latest developments in metals, ceramics, polymers and/or dry lubricants. According to the supplier, they exhibit excellent release properties, provide a high level of protection against corrosion and wear, and improve the performance reliability of all types of metal parts, large and small. Treated surfaces can be customized to be smooth or rough. The coatings allow low temperature application, and comply with FDA, USDA and AgriCanada regulatory codes.
