Tiffany & Co. needed to reinvigorate their recently-launched Spa line, without a complete repackaging. The project goal
was to create an awareness among the clientele of this line of luxury home spa
products. The packaging extension had to communicate the soothing appeal of a
spa, yet maintain visual integrity with the Tiffany brand. Our solution was a
slip-sleeve which literally brought the ingredients outside the bottle. Using
illustrations on clear vellum, we highlighted the product benefits, created a
unique visual appeal on the Tiffany retail shelf and maintained the strong
branded appeal. Sales of the line picked up, enough so that Tiffany asked us to
extend our design success into the primary packaging.
