Silgan Plastics Acquires Clearplass Containers

Silgan Holdings Inc., has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Silgan Plastics Corporation, has acquired all of the outstanding capital stock of Clearplass Containers, Inc.

Clearplass is a privately held manufacturer and marketer of rigid plastic containers serving the personal care and pharmaceutical industries.

Silgan Holdings is a leading North American manufacturer of plastic containers for personal care products, and a major supplier of metal closures for the food and beverage markets with 60 manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada.
