    Full body shrink sleeves will shrink to the contour of the container while providing exceptional shelf appeal. This ability allows the packaging company to utilize complex contoured and severely tapered containers with no compromise in graphics or copy. Printing can range from economical Flexographic to photographic quality rotogravure. Popular applications include single servings for food and beverage as well as cosmetics and personal care products.

    Preforms and bag film allow this packaging technology to be used on containers that normally would be difficult applications for standard shrink film. Preforms work well on reverse tapered or straight walled containers where there is no contour to hold the shrink film in position prior to shrinking. Tamper evident bands for dairy type containers are a very common usage of this configuration. Bag is a cut band with one end heat sealed. This allows a more complete coverage for packaging security and additional graphics areas where package tapering goes beyond the normal film shrinkage. This is frequently found on pharmaceuticals and candies.

    Combo bands offer a low cost, quick turn around promotional mechanism to help liquidate slow moving stock, punch up sales during slow cycles or to introduce complementary products. Shrink bands can be used with a variety of container shapes and contours. This works conveniently with two for one promos and complementary trial sizes. The ability to mask UPC codes also allows the company to reuse individual products after the promotion ends. This is a very popular application for household and personal care products.

    Tamper evident bands are the most popular use of heat shrink banding material. Used on a wide range of containers in many different industries, shrink bands offer a highly visible and effective means of tamper evidence. This type of tamper evident packaging is inexpensive to integrate with existing production lines and does not interfere with current operations. Readily available stock of colored material and generic safety seal printed bands has made this technology universally recognizable and readily accepted.
