Semi-Automatic Top, Bottom Case Sealers

STA Packaging Tapesform, semi-automatic case sealing machines, the STA-52 and the STA-52 Line, provide versatility for sealing uniform cases.

The STA-52 features a heavy-duty frame and transmission system with a simple, reliable side drive belt system and motor overload protection. The STA-52 can handle any case length, with a maximum width capacity of 20.47 in. and a maximum height of 23.50 in. The unit, which achieves belt speeds of up to 90 fpm, is able to handle either 2-in. or 3-in. taping heads. As cases are fed through the system the taping heads simultaneously tape the top and bottom flaps.

The STA-52 Line, a complete packaging and case sealing system, offers the same features as the STA-52 with the added benefit of a high-efficiency infeed conveyor with a box hold-down feature and exit conveyor. An empty case can be held in place for filling on the box packing station. After filling, the box top flaps are closed and fed into the machine for top and bottom taping. Additionally, a three-flap closer can be added to either machine. Heavy-duty casters come standard for both the STA-52 and STA-52 Line.
