Stoody material seaming chucks complement the longer wear life of seaming rolls with ceramic bearing. A specially applied titanium nitride surface treatment on the chucks reduces lacquer removal on tin free steel ends and improves overall corrosion resistance where humidity, water, and high acid products present a problem.
