PTI Packaging Systems and Waldner GmbH & Co. recently gave a presentation on June 9 at the Global Pouch Forum in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Jeffrey Crangle, general manager of PTI Packaging Systems, spoke about the technology advancements in pre-made pouch filling and sealing. Highlights of his presentation include advancements in the following traditional production operations:
- #10 and #303 can replacement, pouch medium; pumpable, particulate and/or liquid products
- Retortable pouch medium; multi-station particulate/liquid fill pet food and other retortable products
- medium; hot or cold fill liquid beverage
- Proven savings for manufacturing operation related to material costs, transportation, storage and energy
