PerfecFlex(tm) CPT film

Perfecseal is the healthcare packaging division of Bemis Inc. Perfecseal draws on patented EZ Peel films that demonstrate a visual verification of seal integrity. PerfecFlex CPT (Clean Peel Transfer) film refines this technology for the stringent demands of the medical device marketplace. CPT is a polymeric sealant film engineered to produce a "cohesive failure" when peeled down from another substrate. After CPT is sealed to uncoated Tyvek the peeling process causes the CPT sealant to split from itself. Some sealant remains bonded to the Tyvek. Some sealant remains bonded to film. This provides a white seal transfer.

This unique system provides several advantages:
* Perfecseal manufactures corner and chevron peel pouches with CPT and uncoated Tyvek. These constructions are ideal for low profile devices and are available in a wide variety of seal design options
* CPT sealant can be incorporated into forming webs and top web materials in rollstock applications
* CPT sealed to uncoated Tyvek provides bond strength values greater than one pound per inch over sealing temperatures ranging from 240º - 300º F without Tyvek delamination and fiber tear
* Economic materials particularly when used with uncoated Tyvek
* Complete 100% white seal transfer
* CPT and uncoated Tyvek provide a wide heat seal window for processing ease.
