Packline Materials Handling Announce The Release Of The Vertical Spindle Attachment With Extended Spindle For Handling Rolls

Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) - New to Packline Materials Handling is the Vertical Spindle attachment that has been designed to suit the lifting and rotation of rolls of film, foil, paper and packaging materials which have a core diameter of 75mm (3”), where the spindle attachment has been extended so that it can handle the wider rolls. This roll handling solution is suitable for food processing and pharmaceutical industries.

The Vertical Spindle has a gearbox with manual handwheel for the rotation of the rolls to and from the vertical to horizontal orientations. A further handwheel provides the roll gripping and release action. The smooth transfer of the rolls onto and from the attachment is made easy with a transfer roller which is mounted on the top front edge of the attachment.

The rolls are securely gripped by the core. This mechanism has a torque limiter fitted so that the clamping fingers do not over or under tighten in the core. This enables the operator to lift reels with complete confidence and safety.

This attachment has been designed to provide greater load capacity, strength, durability as well as improved wear resistance and enhanced ease of use which provides a simple and safe action. It is entirely suitable for the food industry and other hygienic applications.

This handling solution is backed up by a full bespoke design service so ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit most rolls.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of ‘Compac’ lifting machine that is fitted with the quick release system.
This attachment is also available with manual and powered roll rotation.

105kg is the maximum capacity, however, larger capacities and to suit greater roll widths, are available on request.
