Packaging Systems and End of Line
The SIMONAZZI range of palletizers and depalletizers includes systems for handling and treating loose products ( glass and PET bottles, jerry cans, jars, cans) or packaged products (crates cartons, trays, bundles, packs.) The product infeed is from below or above, with steady or mobile pallet designed for medium to high speeds. These machines are capable of satisfying very varied requirements in terms of automation.
The main features of SIMONAZZI packaging systems are their great reliability in terms of resistance and sturdiness, silent working, easy access, and maintenance.
To meet the need for increasingly flexible packaging systems, Sasib has developed and applied robot technology in this sector.
SIMONAZZI Robokombi is a 4/6 axis arm-type robot system which can palletize/depalletize, crate/decrate, insert/remove dividers, distribute or pile empty pallets, and manipulate in general.
The robot gripping head can be replaced automatically, thus making the system even more flexible and reducing format changeover times to an absolute minimum.
The organization of the end-of-line and linking to the warehouse is of key importance for our customers. Sasib is the only major supplier able to offer innovative solutions for this complex stage including the use of robots, laser guided vehicles, and advanced software systems integrating the end-of-line with the warehouses, as well as tracing product movements.
This is all possible because of ELETTRIC 80 Freeway, an integrated system for palletizing/handling with great advantages in terms of flexibility and modularity compared to traditional systems.
The basic idea is to create a decentralized (end-of-line) robot palletizing system integrated with laser-guided vehicles to transport pallets to wrapping and warehouse areas.
