Designed for freestanding cookies and crackers on edge, the fully servo-driven Pack-2000SC slug wrapper operates at speeds up to 200 slugs/minute. It can accommodate a wide range of sizes and tolerances. The Pack-2000SC features a new high-speed continuous-motion loader from Houdijk Holland, which recently appointed Klöckner as exclusive U.S. distributor of its automatic packaging infeed and loading systems (see separate release). The continuous-motion loader can handle round, square, or rectangular cookies or crackers, creating slugs of up to 40 products each. This loader keeps product weight within tight tolerances; a weight signal from the checkweigher can be sent back to the loader, which automatically changes the count of biscuits/crackers while the machine is running. The loader has a compact footprint and permits easy operator access.

Also being shown is Klöckner's Pack-300CA servo-driven flow wrapper with integrated rotary disc feeder for high-speed (up to 1,800 ppm) flow wrapping of hard-boiled candy, gum, lozenges, and other solid, regularly formed products.
