The Pack-2000 SC Slug Wrapper is designed for free-standing biscuits and crackers on edge and operates at speeds up to 150 slugs per minute. Capable of accommodating a wide range of sizes and tolerances, the unit is fully servo driven. The system interfaces with the new high speed Houdijk Continuous Motion Loader (CML), which forms and builds the desired length slugs of biscuits/crackers. While in operation, a weight signal from the checkweigher can be sent back to the Houdijk Loader to automatically change the biscuit/cracker count to maintain desired product weight within tight tolerances. The Houdijk Loader delivers a space saving footprint at a comfortable working height, and with easy operator access.
