The R50 "Blue Bar" is a high-speed, extended range, shockless static bar with optional monitoring system. Operating at 7,800 volts, the R50 neutralizes static charges on webs at speeds up to 2,500 fpm at 2" from the web and to 1,500 fpm at 4in.. The R50 is available as an optional R51 version that incorporates a removable high voltage cable. Simco will also exhibit its new M167 power supply, which includes a static bar monitoring circuit that detects arcing and conductive bar contamination conditions. Lamps display voltage input, voltage output and arcing condition.
