PACK EXPO 2000: Rollbag Systems

The Titan 575 Rollbag System opens, fills and seals any pre-made bag-on-a-roll from 2in.x 2in. up to 12in. x 12in.. The self-contained tabletop system features an internal blower system that opens the bag for easy loading and stainless steel construction. A built-in electric footswitch automatically dispenses bags to the filling point and activates the motor-powered Simpulse Sealing system to provide safe, positive jaw pressure for a strong seal. Designed for common bagging applications like wire connectors, springs, fasteners, toys, confectioneries, and molded products, the system also features an adjustable seal temperature control and cooling cycles are automatically controlled.

The Titan Model 6500 Automatic Rollbag System makes bag packaging quick and easy, reaching production speeds of up to 60 bags per minute. It automatically dispenses, opens, and once filled, seals pre-opened bags-on-a-roll from 2 ½in. sq. up to 12in. wide by 22in. long. The unit comes standard with a three-position selector switch for automatic, manual, and auxiliary operating modes. For printed bag applications, a programmable printer is optional. With an image area that is 4in. wide by 6in. long, the printer can print up to 50 impressions/min. with a 203 dpi resolution.

SAS Automatic L-Sealers from Sergeant are true smooth-transfer pusher-less sealers, transferring the product and film automatically into the seal area. Capable of production speeds up to 30 packages per minute, the SAS Automatic L-Sealers handle package lengths as short as 4 inches and as high as 6 inches. The SAS senses the beginning and end of any shaped product to perfectly dispense the correct amount of film. Ergonomically designed, the film is loaded on a power film unwind system that prevents any lifting of film above the operators waist. A hot-knife sealing system for sealing Polyolefin, Polypropylene, PVC, and Polyethylene films comes standard.
