Ideal for shipping fragile items under 10 lbs., the Xpander Pak is an integrated super protective package that has a durable film outer wall and a flexible inner wall. Enclosed in the space between the sides of the package is an open celled fully flexible foam which is held in a compressed condition with a vacuum. When the Xpander Pak is ready to ship, the vacuum is released, allowing the shipper to expand and create a custom fitted package. These products provide superior protection against shock and vibration during shipping, provide thermal protection against extreme temperatures, and are water-resistant, reusable and recyclable. The newly available Xpander Pak (ESD), with a type III pouch is specifically designed to prevent electrical over stress (EOS) during shipping.
