PACK EXPO 2000: Programmable Paper and Plastic Tube Recutter

The automatic Activa 240 A Programmable Paper and Plastic Tube Recutter offers flexible, fast and accurate cutting of paper and plastic tubes. This single knife recutter offers two different cutting systems: idle knives for a clean and accurate cut and stationary, but indexed, knives for an even better burnished cut. The recutter accommodates parent tubes ranging in length from 750 to 2400 mm and in diameter from ID 20 mm to OD 200 mm. Up to 240 cuts per minute can be made within one parent tube. The unit is fully programmable machine, and is capable of storing statistics such as cutting lengths, cutting time, and the number of rings per box or per order.
