PACK EXPO 2000: Digital Laser Coder

The company will unveil a new high resolution option for the recently introduced DDC 3 Digital Laser Coder at PACK EXPO International 2000. The new platform-based coder uses specially tuned laser tubes to accommodate difficult to code, industry specific packaging materials, while maintaining excellent code quality on other substrates encountered. Additionally, the coder's unique ability to digitally adjust laser power levels enables laser coding of even thinwall materials without danger of perforating or compromising package integrity. The new high resolution option enhances the highly legible, informational format of this code to the near graphic quality desired by discriminating users.
