PACK EXPO 2000 BUNDLE PALLETIZER

The Zip Code Bundle Palletizer-III (ZIP III) is the next step in palletizing varying height bundles and fixed height bundles for postal distribution. It can handle bundles measuring 5 in. to 11 in. in width, 7 in. to 14 in. in length and ½ in. to 13 in. high. Pallet loads weighing up to 2500 lb. and measuring 60 in. can be accommodated. The palletizer has a PC hardware base with a real-time operating system, which utilizes the C-5 Motion control software. Multi-tasking application programs operate all elements of the system, which includes computing the necessary stacking parameters and information displays for the Area Operator. Programmable features include piling patterns and change of product size, stretch wrapping for achieving load stability, and an optional bar code reader to detect the end of run identification.
