The company will be unveiling its Model 100-57PD Automatic Drum and Pail Palletizer at PACK EXPO International 2000. Customer demands for a system to handle both drums and pails encouraged the development of this dual machine. Drums and pails utilize separate infeed conveyors, and steel or plastic pails are automatically upstacked prior to palletizing. Column stacks are then automatically palletized in one of several possible programmable pallet patterns. Steel, fiber, or plastic drums are received, transferred to a stripper plate, and placed on a positioned pallet. The unit can palletize up to six drums per minute. Options include explosion proof controls, washdown controls, and Steelit paint.
