P-Plus Packaging Technology
The technology precisely controls the density of microperforations in packaging materials which in turn controls permeability. By regulating permeability, packagers can adjust oxygen, carbon dioxide, and moisture levels to slow the respiration rate of packaged produce.
Extend the shelf life of products. A slower respiration rate creates a natural equilibrium modified atmosphere. Creating this natural atmosphere slows the aging process of the product while retaining freshness.
Present produce in aesthetically pleasing packaging. . The tiny perforations are invisible to the naked eye and do not disturb the look of packaging.
Use the same film or laminate to package a variety of produce. . Printpack has simplified your packaging since multiple levels of permeability can now be produced with the same material under the same operating conditions.
The technology addresses the widest range of permeability requirements. . Package products which until now could not be packaged because of film permeability restrictions.
