Greif Bros. Corporationmposite Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC), developed in conjunction with Sotralentz S. A. of France, contains a series of reinforced ribs in the cage for increased strength in stacking, racking and bulge resistance. The new 275-gallon IBC has the ability to hold materials up to 1.9 specific gravity. The container also uses a new cage coating that provides improved durability. A special multi-stage pre-treatment process ensures superior adhesion of the cage coating for improved corrosion and rust resistance.

The container can be used in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries where manufacturers are transporting valuable products, including hazardous liquids, over a long-distance. The unit comes with either a wooden or metal pallet, both of which are available in standard or heavy-duty strength.
