New Model BH2600 Roll-Fed Labeler

Reduces Footprint And Increases Production Flexibility
The new BH2600 roll-fed labeler from B&H Labeling Systems is a compact mid-speed, high performance machine that features the latest advances in roll-fed technology. The BH2600 is an anchor in the new generation of B&H Rapid Change Over (RCO) labelers and handles a broad range of container and label sizes to maximize production flexibility. With its ergonomic design and smaller footprint, the BH2600 offers packagers optimum labeling efficiency and simplicity.
Handling containers from 2 to 5 inches in diameter, the BH2600 labels beverage containers with volumes from 6 oz to 3 liters, as well as a broad range of food, household and personal care containers, at speeds up to 500 cpm. The BH2600 comes standard with a larger vacuum drum and taller Theta Cutter to accommodate longer and wider labels that meet the changing needs of the beverage industry and the aerosol industry.
The BH2600 minimizes production line downtime and maximizes production flexibility and simplicity with B&H Rapid Change Over (RCO) capability. One person can perform container size and label changeovers in fifteen to twenty minutes with fewer change parts and fewer adjustments. The ability to pre-program machine functions via the BH2600's industrial computer reduces the skill level required to execute changeovers and allows the labeler to operate at optimum performance. Designed for unparalleled changeover accuracy, simply clamping the components in place enables the BH2600 to produce the highest quality labeled containers every time.
Equipped with the latest version of B&H patented Computerized Registration System (CRS), the BH2600 ensures that labels are cut to the correct length and in the correct location. The new faster computer, registration mark sensing photo-eye, and label feed mechanism act together to enhance labeling quality by compensating for common problems such as variations in label lengths.
B&H incorporated several unique features into the BH2600 to help reduce maintenance and improve product quality. Vacuum hoses are housed within the frame of the BH2600 improving access to the vacuum drum and cutter for easier maintenance. A high-efficiency gear arrangement on the BH2600 offers a simplified design that utilizes a single gear belt drive instead of traditional chains that tend to stretch; this gear arrangement is designed to reduce maintenance needs, improve final product quality, and decrease operating noise levels. The BH2600 also uses a pneumatic tension system and air brakes that eliminate the more commonly used dancer arm and electric brakes, providing better control and reliability. A redesigned glue wheel assembly achieves tighter tolerances and offers simpler adjustments.
The BH2600 features a user-friendly touch-screen control panel that simplifies operation and reduces training requirements. An optional feature offered with the BH2600 is a modem connection that provides remote diagnostic capability, allowing B&H to provide off-site trouble-shooting and improved customer service at a lower cost.
