New bulk bag unloader now available

PIAB Vacuum Productsal Handling, manufacturer of industrial vacuum conveyors and components, has introduced a new product in its line of material handling equipment.

Used with PIAB's range of compressed air powered vacuum conveyors, the PIAB bulk bag unloader is a simple, fully-contained, relatively inexpensive unit for the unloading of bulk bags. With the bulk bag elevated above the station, the spout of the bag is attached (before it is untied) to an inflatable seal. This provides for a totally dust-tight connection. This eliminates the need for glove-boxes, doors or enclosures as used in the past. There is no dust collection and no hassles.

Features of the unit include all contact surfaces in 316 SS, easy disassembly with no tools needed, and portability. The unit is quite safe, as it is 100% pneumatically operated.
