Multivac Vacuum Chamber Systems Deliver Superior Quality To Orthopedic Device Packagers

Protection, Sterile Barrier, Ease of Inspection Validation

Kansas City, MO - Multivac, Inc., provides orthopedic device manufacturers superior security, protection, sterile barrier and quality control benefits with its vacuum chamber packaging units. The compact and affordable chamber system offers a practical alternative to the traditional snorkel machine with standard features including, temperature validation and inspection visibility.

"Our versatile, reliable technology delivers the quality assurance orthopedic device manufacturers require, in a compact and affordable unit," says Doug Slomski, director of sales for Multivac's Medical/Consumer/Industrial Group. "Whether a packager is using a Class 100 or Class 100,000 Clean Room, our equipment will maintain the sterile barrier of the device and fit easily into the production room."

Security, Visual Inspection

Multivac's A342 and A352 single chamber machines, and the dual chamber C400, have standard lock-out controls, enabling only one person to access and adjust program settings. For example, a controller who carefully measures a seal weld for temperature requirements may lock out further programming to prevent disruptive changes. Each chamber machine also features a glass-viewing window to facilitate visual inspection.
