The Model ILPO Puck Orienter is designed to orient round pucks with either one or two orientation flats.
Advantage Puck Group, Inc.LPO Puck Orienter is designed to orient round pucks with either one or two orientation flats. The system easily mounts to the customer's existing conveyor. It is approximately 26 1/2" long and includes an A7 pocket puck separator star. The star drive is a 90-volt DC variable speed motor. This allows controlled separation of the pucks to the timing belt portion of the system to prevent jams and misalignment.
The orienter portion of the system has its own 90 volt DC variable speed drive with surface timing belt that rotates the puck as it travels through the system. As the puck rotates the flats of the puck will align with a spring-loaded rail assembly. At this point the puck will maintain orientation. As the puck exits the system the guide rails on customers existing conveyor will need to be matched with the flats on the puck to maintain orientation.
