MOCON Creates International Webinar Series; Tutorials Conducted In English, Spanish, Chinese
MOCON, Inc. is making its free popular educational webinars on package testing accessible to an even larger global audience by offering online classes in Spanish, Chinese and English.
In addition to its regular monthly webinar hosted in English, MOCON is unveiling its International Series which has been designed to provide information of value to packaging professionals in other countries.
"Because MOCON's instruments are used worldwide, it makes sense to offer our popular educational webinars at a time and in a language that better suits the international participant," explained Guy Wray, marketing manager, MOCON. "Also, to better support the growing global market, we recently established testing labs in Germany, India and China.
Presenters typically speak for 30-40 minutes, supported by online graphics, charts, key information, photographs, etc. After the formal part of the presentation, participants are able to ask questions. Dates, topics and languages will include:

"With shelf life, food safety, permeation and other package performance issues continuing to grow in importance globally, we feel that it is important to provide information to non-English speaking professionals in their native language," explained Guy Wray, marketing manager, MOCON.
International participants also are welcome to join MOCON's 2010 regular monthly internet seminar series. The regular program begins at 10 a.m. Central (U.S.) time and includes presentations on a broad range of topics including package integrity, high-temperature permeation methods, shelf-life studies, medical packaging testing, PET bottles and flexible packaging, etc.
