Milwaukee Folding Carton Is Proud To Have Their First SCAN-TVS™ In The United States Using The 50-Inch Scanner

Milwaukee Folding Carton (a division of Rock Tenn) recently installed an electronic text verification system (SCAN-TVS™) that is now up and running. Ramp-up and integration were not without issue, but Global Vision, the manufacturer, provided prompt technical support for the system, and the plant is moving to full usage. Fourteen employees have been trained on the new system, and all are involved in various aspects of usage. The system is the first installation in the United States using a 50-inch scanner.

The SCAN-TVS™ provides many time and cost-saving advantages. For example, the system can scan and save proofs in two to three minutes and can copy-check rooftopress sheets in only 11 minutes. In addition, the Global Vision TVS™2.0 software is user-friendly, and the computer is well integrated with the software and the scanner.
