The Sencorp model MD-2420 dual shuttle tray sealer features digital control and display of temperature, pressure and dwell time as well as a hinged lockable instrument panel cover to limit operator access to the process controllers. The control system features full process alarms with operational lock-outs tied to each control parameter. The machine includes external output ports (temperature, pressure and dwell time) for use in process control verification and the calibration process. Thermocouple output provides seal die temperature signals from all four sides of the seal die. The rugged design guarantees no deflection occurs during the sealing cycle, so all generated force is focused on the seal area. This machine is 100% validatable and calibratable. We have designed the Sencorp model MD-2420 to provide the consistent, repeatable seal quality required for medical tray sealing applications.
