MB-300G-3 Gravimetric Sorption Analyzer

Source: VTI Corporation
The MB-300G-3 sets the standard for high-throughput gravimetric vapor sorption analysis under vacuum conditions
The MB-300G-3 sets the standard for high-throughput gravimetric vapor sorption analysis under vacuum conditions. A typical experiment collects 200 data points; however, when higher resolution is desired, up to 400 equilibrated data points is achievable. Three ultra-sensitive electronic digital recording microbalances are integrated into a single instrument, allowing simultaneous experiments (all using the same experimental protocol) on up to three samples. This is a significant advantage when time and space are at a premium in the R&D or QC Laboratory.

As in all other VTI instruments, the microbalance heads are isolated and kept at a constant temperature to eliminate the danger of drift and damage to the sensitive mechanism. Our Microsoft™ Windows™ based software is easy to operate, allows user-defined protocols, linked experiments, back-to-back runs and true multitasking. As with our other vacuum systems, pressures lower than 10-3 torr are attainable with the optional high vacuum pumps and gauges such as diffusion, turbomolecular and molecular drag pumps.
