Marquip Names Polo Juangorena Regional Manager, Latin America

Antonio Ulloa, Barry-Wehmiller Vice-President of Latin America Operations, announced that Polo Juangorena has been promoted to the position of Regional Manager, Latin America for Marquip. Based in Phillips, Wisconsin, Marquip is a leading international provider of high-speed machinery for the corrugated paperboard and folding carton industries. Juangorena assumed this role in recognition of his successful cultivation of the growing Mexican market. "Polo's efforts have enabled Marquip to further penetrate the Latin American market, increasing its international presence," commented Ulloa.

With a degree in electronics and communications engineering, Juangorena joined Marquip in 1991 as a Field Service Engineer. In this capacity, he supervised both domestic and international installations and provided equipment training for customer personnel. In 1994, Juangorena accepted a Technical Sales Service Representative position with Dow Chemical's Advance Cleaning System Group and launched its Mexican branch. He returned to Marquip in 1995 as the Regional Sales Manager for Mexico, securing key contracts in that market. In his new role, Juangorena will manage multi-million dollar contracts and installations throughout Latin America while working closely with Marquip's field service group. "Marquip's success in the Latin American market will be enhanced by Barry-Wehmiller's involvement and understanding of the region," stated Juangorena.

Jack Johnson, Marquip's Vice-President of Worldwide Sales, commented "Polo's understanding of Marquip's technical capabilities and extensive relationships will fuel our efforts in that region."
