HSV Magnetic Hysteresis Couplings are designed to deliver accurate and friction free tension control for bottle filling, textile, thin film and labeling applications. These couplings can be accurately set to +/- 5% for smooth and friction free control of torque. The HSV couplings consist of permanent magnets and hysteresis magnetic material, but because there is no contact between the two halves, there is no friction or wear to the material. The couplings eliminate the need for outside electrical connections, reduce wear and tear in the coupling, and offer extremely smooth disengagement.
