Liberty Technologies Develops Conveyor For Food And Beverage Industry

Vienna, OH - Liberty Technologies, a worldwide industry leader and innovator of unit load and packaging systems, is adding stainless steel mat top conveyor to its portfolio of automated and semi-automated materials handling equipment and systems.

The first offering will be stainless steel conveyor products developed for the food and beverage industry. The line will include straight and curved conveyor sections and combiners as well as implementation services to integrate the conveyor with existing systems.

"This is a natural progression for Liberty," said Rich Evick, senior vice president. "For more than 25 years, we have been providing end-of-the-line industrial packaging solutions, including stretch wrap, strapping and palletizing systems. Now, we'll be able to provide upstream solutions to our food and beverage customers as well."

The conveyor will be manufactured at Liberty Technologies' Innovation Facility in Vienna, Ohio. Evick said the first product will be available in the fourth quarter of 2010.
