Level Sensing Pneumaflow Filler

Pneumatic Scale, a Barry-Wehmiller company, has redesigned its level sensing Pneumaflow Filler to incorporate the latest in clean product supply design. The new design promotes a more sanitary filling environment and operation ease, while reducing maintenance.

The Pneumaflow Filler ensures accurate fills so giveaway is significantly reduced. The filler is so precise that it achieves fill height accuracy up to ± 0.2" standard deviation.

The new product supply design, developed with the aid of a microbiologist, delivers a cleaner machine, which greatly reduces the possibility of product contamination. The product supply is at the filling head, resulting in fewer supply tubes. Fewer supply tubes result in fewer places for contamination to occur.

This self-draining system not only inhibits bacterial growth but also allows for improved cleanout when changing products. Cleaning solution is cycled through the system at high speeds, while a newly designed drain system purges all residual product and cleaning solution, so the Pneumaflow Filler is immediately ready for the next product.

The new design also features minimal moving parts, which reduces maintenance. Additionally, the new open design allows easier access to the base and turret, adding to maintenance ease.

Machine adjustments are easy. A touch-screen interface provides control of all machine functions while an optional reject system allows users to define reject parameters for out-of-spec containers.

All product contact parts are constructed of 316L Stainless Steel, the pharmaceutical standard.

The Pneumaflow Filler is available as a standalone machine or can be easily monoblocked with Pneumatic Scale's TC Capper.
