Latest Case Sealer From Loveshaw Increases Productivity At Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Of America, Inc. Affiliate, Rapidparts, Inc.

South Canaan, PA - Rapidparts, an affiliated forklift parts distribution company of Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift of America, Inc., found a simple way to increase throughput and staff productivity. Before purchasing Loveshaw's Random Legend, Rapidparts packaged all its shipments manually using gum tape to build the box, stuffing the box by hand and affixing a final seal with a gum tape dispenser. Increased volumes drove the distributor -- which ships over 500 air and 1,300 ground packages a week -- to find a new, more efficient system. Since switching to the Random Legend, throughput has increased by more than 17%, saving at least three hours of labor per day.
