SASIB Food & Beverage Machineryded vehicle (LGV) uses a laser scanner to orient itself reading simple reflectors mounted on the walls or on machinery. Routes can be changed quickly and simply using a CAD program. A typical system consists of robotic palletizers often positioned close to the end of the lines and subsequently reducing case conveyors. Transport of empty and full pallets to and from the robots is executed by LGVs. Full pallets are normally transported to a stretcher, where the system also takes care of the pallet labelling. At this point the LGVs bring the pallets to the proper place in the warehouse.

When seen as a whole, the system is the link between production and warehouse. Product information is accurately transferred through palletizing, handling, stretchwrapping, labelling and warehousing.
