ITW Muller Announces New Company Structuring

Offering a Broader Range of Global Stretch Packaging Solutions

ITW Muller has announced its new company structure to provide customers with access to a broader range of solutions for wrapping pallets. Previously operated as independent business units of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), GaleWrap and Yellow Jacket will now operate as part of the ITW Muller family of products. ITW Muller will now offer the high quality GaleWrap Oriented hand films and innovative Oriented Equipment. Along with GaleWrap, ITW Muller will market the Yellow Jacket brand of orbital stretch wrappers. These products will complement the superior stretch wrap film and equipment that Muller has traditionally been know for and will continue to offer.

By rolling the GaleWrap and Yellow Jacket brands under the ITW Muller business, Muller can offer a broader line of stretch wrap packaging solutions, while simultaneously streamlining operations and better servicing customers. “Our customers will benefit by gaining access to more products, services, and solutions.” says Joe Albert, General Manager at ITW Muller.  “In addition, they will be able to simplify their ordering, shipping, billing, and customer service requests, while working with informed Muller sales, technical, and customer service representatives.”

ITW Muller is also introducing a new global stretch wrap equipment line.  Muller has teamed up with its counterparts in Europe, ITW Haloila, to standardize on an equipment offering that will be consistent worldwide. By joining forces, ITW Muller will be able to provide its customers with improved technology, a wider array of innovative equipment solutions, and a worldwide network of support. ITW Muller will continue operations in Montreal, Canada but with a focus on delivering innovative retrofits and cost saving enhancements to existing equipment installations.

The technologies and services traditionally available through ITW Muller will remain. In addition, customers and prospects can reach out to ITW Muller for all Yellow Jacket and GaleWrap products and services. Customers and prospects may still visit each respective company website and contact their local representatives for inquiries. Information regarding each individual brand can be found at www.itwmuller.com, www.galewrap.com, or www.yellowjacket110.com.

“ITW Muller now has the products and services to fit the widest variety of pallet wrapping needs,” says Albert.  “There is simply no company that can match the product range and type of services we now offer.  With the addition of ITW GaleWrap and Yellow Jacket, our customers simply have more solutions available at their fingertips. The partnership with Haloila further delivers a level of unrivaled global support in our customer’s markets.”

With the help of an extensive engineering team and talented manufacturing technicians, Muller has a proven history of developing distinctive machines and innovative options to satisfy some of the most difficult stretch wrapping challenges. Crystal clear, high quality cast stretch films are manufactured using a sophisticated 5-layer extrusion process at an ITW Muller facility in Orange, Texas. Products include the Eliminator and Reducer machine films. Strategically located just outside Atlanta, Georgia, ITW Muller's Douglasville stretch film manufacturing facility produces millions of pounds of blown stretch film annually on state-of-the-art equipment. Meeting the needs of both hand and machine film applications, products include GaleWrap and impact hand films and the ST machine film. The facility adheres to strict quality control procedures to assure consistent, problem-free product.
