The company name "INTA-ROTO"--a contraction of "Intaglio" and "Rotogravure"--was conceived by the original founders in 1947. For 45 years, INTA-ROTO was the machinery division of I-R International. In 1992, long-time employees Shara Kuppalli and Phil Seay purchased INTA-ROTO from I-R International. With their combined experience and leadership, INTA-ROTO continues to flourish in the web converting industry.

IN 1996, INTA-ROTO moved into a brand new 20,000 square foot climate controlled facility conveniently located less than one mile from Richmond International Airport. It is here that we continue to design and build high quality machinery for nearly every facet of the converting industry.

We view our relationship with customers as partnerships. From the sale to the commissioning of a project, we will work closely with you to ensure that your needs and expectations are met. Every machine we build, whether similar to a previous design or a brand new machine, is engineered to the most modern standards. Our renowned sales and engineering team has vast experience in the application of the machinery best suited for the job. In addition, they have the skills to custom design machine components and lines for unique proprietary processes. INTA-ROTO supplies complete converting lines including "turnkey" installations, as well as individual machine components to retrofit and upgrade existing lines or to function in concert with specialized line components by other manufacturers.

This vast experience combined with innovative, up-to-date concepts, plus a total commitment to the highest standard of quality at reasonable pricing adds up to unequaled value. It's no wonder that you can find INTA-ROTO's machines everywhere in America and on every continent around the world.
