High Speed EAS Multi-Labeler

The growing demand to incorporate electronic article surveillance (EAS) tags as part of the product's package (Source Tagging), has led the company to introduce the proprietary Multi-Labeler high speed EAS applicator.

The labeler applies Checkpoint's Impulse tags at a rate of 700 products per minute and has been customized with a 52 in. long snorkel to extend the vacuum grid assembly over the conveyor line to reach the product.

The tags are converted four across on the web and are dispensed onto individual vacuum grid assemblies. As products travel beneath the grids, the tags are blown sequentially until all four are applied. The web is then advanced and the next set of tags readied for labeling.

Other features are; a 20 in. powered unwind to minimize system downtime due to label changeovers, non-conducting materials and coating to reduce scuffing and static charge accumulation on the tags, "Quick release" ball bushing applicator mounting table.
