Handling Heavy Rolls – Vertical Spindle Attachment With Rollers And Retaining Pin

The rolls are lifted by their core from the pallet or racking in the horizontal position only as no rotation was required. The rolls are then transported horizontally to the processing machinery.

The vertical spindle attachment is equipped with rollers to assist the operator to transfer the heavy rolls from the lifting attachment to the mandrel on the packaging machine. This reduces the requirement for operator manual handling.

A ‘pin-stop’ retainer mechanism ensures that the rolls remain safely on the attachment whilst the machine is being manoeuvred between the storage racking and machinery.

This Single Spindle attachment on a powder coated mild steel stacker truck is suitable for handling heavy rolls of film and paper in a warehouse environment where stainless steel is not required.

The attachment has a maximum capacity of up to 200kg (440lbs), however higher rated models may be available on request.

The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service so ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit most lifting requirements.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of Compac lifting machine that is fitted with the attachment quick release system.
