Goeke Named President of Klöckner Pentaplast
The board of directors of Klöckner Pentaplast of America Inc. (KPA), Gordonsville, VA, has appointed Tom Goeke president of the film-supplying company, replacing Harry van Beek, who is retiring March 1. Van Beek will remain president of Klöckner Capital Corp., the holding company of the Klöckner companies in the Americas, and will continue to serve as president of Klöckner Bartelt.
Goeke joined Klöckner Pentaplast, the leading producer of rigid films in the Americas, in 1989 as assistant to the president. Since 1995 he has served as COO and executive vice president of KPA. He came to KPA from Hoechst Celanese Rigid Film Division, where he was product manager of pharmaceutical and food packaging films. Prior to Hoechst Celanese, he was with ICI America's Film Division.
Van Beek founded KPA in 1977 and has been its president since that time.
