Glass Coding Ink

Source: Willett America, Inc.
Glass Coding Ink is designed to adhere to glass bottles before condensation (when cold, filled bottles meet a humid environment) or after a wash process prior to filling.
Willett- The World's Coding and Labeling Company- has released a new black ink for coding onto glass bottles. The ink is designed to adhere to glass bottles before condensation (when cold, filled bottles meet a humid environment) or after a wash process prior to filling. Once the bottles are dry, a clear, quality code is visible.

The code is resistant to abrasion and spillage from alcohol (up to 50% concentration in water). It can be used effectively on recycled bottles as well. Once the code is removed using a caustic solution, it is ready to start its life cycle again.

This ink was developed for use in the 400 Series small character continuous ink jet printers from Willett. It is especially compatible for use with Willett's new 470Si IP66/NEMA 4X printer designed for use in harsh environments such as the beverage, brewing and dairy industries.

Willett offers a wide range of general purpose and application-specific inks including food packaging, color change and high temperature resistant inks.
