The Gemini is so completely integrated with the Windows environment that most printer control is done by a simple mouse-click within the Gemini's on-screen Control Panel. The Gemini comes with Tharo's exclusive Windows Printer Driver which allows printing from almost any Windows application. This means you can create bar code labels and text from the Windows applications you already have, without special programming or purchasing additional software.

Gemini 2 Windows bar code printer is faster time to first label, with more standard features and offers an optional cutter and internal rewind. The Gemini 2 features print speeds of up to 4 inches per second and print resolution of 203 dpi, providing a superior quality image over a print width up to 4.09 in. on media up to 4.5 inches wide. Gemini 2 prints on most direct thermal and thermal transfer roll-fed, die-cut continuous and fan-fold label, tag and ticket materials on standard 8 in. diameter rolls. Standard features include moveable "see-through" or reflective sensor, ideal for sensing any type of media including tag stock with a black sensing mark and odd-shaped labels such as circles and ellipses. The Gemini 2 supports all popular linear and two-dimensional bar codes symbologies .
