Geared Potentiometers
Geared potentiometer GP02
By combining a gear mechanism and potentiometer in one casing, the mechanical angle of rotation is related by a single or multi-turn potentiometer to the adjustment range. 100 revolutions using a 10-turn potentiometer and 10 step-up gear mechanism will relate the angle of rotation of the potentiometer's 3600 degrees to the measuring range of 36000 degrees.
Geared potentiometer GP03
By combining a gear mechanism and potentiometer in one casing, the mechanical angle of rotation is related by a single or multi-turn potentiometer to the adjustment range. 100 revolutions using a 10-turn potentiometer and 10 step-up gear mechanism will relate the angle of rotation of the potentiometer's 3600 degrees to the measuring range of 36000 degrees.
A slipping clutch between the gear mechanism and the potentiometer prevents irreparable mechanical damage to the potentiometer.
