The K&R Case Former is a heavy duty, compact machine designed for ease of setup.
The K&R Case Former is a heavy duty, compact machine designed for ease of setup. The K/D case is shuttle fed from magazine, is gripped and erected by a positive swing arm/vacuum cup mechanism. The squared case is engaged by side belts (minor bottom case flaps folded) and transferred through major flap folding plows and pressure sensitive tape head. Case exits machine.
- Air - 0.3 cu. ft./cycle at 80 psi, clean, dry air.
- Electrical Supply - 230/460v - 3ph - 60Htz (all voltages available to meet customer need).
- Allen-Bradley SLC 500 PLC standard. Contact factory for other makes and models.
- Sensor to monitor case supply on customers exit conveyor.
- Low case supply alarm.
- Low tape supply alarm.
- Uncut tape/machine stop feature.
- LEXAN guarding with electrical interlocks to meet standard safety requirements.
- Approximate case feed magazine capacity:
- • 190 single wall cases.
• 140 double wall cases.
- Available in Right or Left Hand models.
- Hot Melt case bottom closure available.
