ENDURA ROLL-FED SHRINK LABELING PROVIDES
PRODUCT DIFFERENTIATION WHILE
IMPROVING PRODUCTIVITY AND REDUCING MATERIAL COSTS

The patented Endura roll-fed shrink labeling process from B&H Labeling Systems combines roll-fed labeling technology with a shrink system which maximizes line productivity and minimizes the costs associated with labeling contour containers. Product manufacturers interested in differentiating their products with creative package designs can improve the look and feel of containers economically with the Endura system.

With the latest advances in roll-fed and shrink technology, and an ever-expanding assortment of shrinkable label materials, the Endura process offers packagers the capability of labeling a wide variety of shaped containers with innovative profiles. B&H labeling equipment accommodates metal, glass, or plastic containers ranging in size from 2 to 7.5 inches in diameter (5 cm to 19 cm) to maximize production flexibility, while B&H Rapid Changeover (RCO) capability maximizes line productivity.

A shrinkable roll-fed label is tightly applied to the container using a metered glue pattern and the container itself as a mandrel. Individually controlled heat applicators gently warm the label area as the container rotates in front of each heat station while being conveyed through the system. The label progressively shrinks to the contour of the container, resulting in a tight label that perfectly embraces the contour of the package.

Shrink labels applied with roll-fed technology are substantially less expensive than shrink sleeve labeling in terms of initial equipment investment, change parts, and labeling costs. Roll-fed labelers also operate at much faster line speeds than shrink sleeve labelers and increase line productivity by reducing changeover time, machine maintenance, and operator training requirements.

B&H roll-fed labelers handle a wide range of label material substrates, including heat shrinkable polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinylchloride, polyethylene, various blends of films in the olefin group, and mono or laminated structures. High-impact decoration with colorful graphics enhances product image and helps differentiate products on the market shelf. Just-in-time decorative flexibility can also help processors differentiate their products with seasonal and promotional package decoration.

Located in Ceres, California, B&H Labeling Systems introduced the first viable roll-fed label application system in 1969. B&H is known worldwide for innovative, solution-driven engineering, high quality workmanship, and the unequaled reliability of its equipment. B&H maintains global representation to offer service and technical support to its worldwide customer base.
